i love these tea sets by Esther Coombs from http://www.esthercoombs.com/page3.htm She draws designs on to discarded ceramics and also glass, she recalls these items "retrieved from a lost life illustrated and assembled" quickly became an obsession. i love this idea of taking old, unwanted ceramics and customizing them with a new design. On these tea sets the elegantly drawn designs compliment the existing floral images giving an individual, quirky feel. i especially like how delicate patterns of tea coasters have been applied and the addition of tea bags. And because i love tea they seem even more special.
